HARAWO's long-awaited debut album, "Afterglow," will be released on October 5, 2026.
HARAWO is a mature-generation singer who brings the atmosphere of 1970s and 1980s Japanese New Music and AOR into the present day. The album brings together eight songs previously featured in the JP NeM Network series throughout 2026: "Yugure Rhapsody," "MOMIJI," "Yume no Tsuzuki," "Renbo," "Kimi no Identity," "Amaoto ni Kakusarete," "Hohoemi," and "Kanashiki Egoist," along with the Special Track "Kuchibue wo Fuite," for a total of nine tracks.
Mellow chords, sophisticated arrangements, and relaxed vocals create a sound that reflects the sensibility of New Music while avoiding nostalgia alone.
Bringing together songs released through JP NeM Network, "Afterglow" presents HARAWO's musical world as a complete album, offering a collection of music that feels natural and comfortable for adults living in the present day.
The nights of that era flowed together with music Radio car stereos and neon streets HARAWO brings back the spirit of seventies and eighties new music and AOR for the present day a singer songwriter for the grown up generation Mellow chords refined arrangements and relaxed vocals The space and quiet confidence born from a life fully lived gently loosen the listeners sense of time This is not music that relies only on nostalgia While looking back at the past it creates a sound that fits the nights of adults living in the present A solo drive the radio on the way home a quiet room with a glass in hand Music that naturally blends into everyday scenes HARAWO new music that feels right now for ears that remember those days
