Happiness Begins Today is a heartfelt Japanese folk pop song for anyone who has put their own happiness on hold while caring for others.

Inspired by the full moon and the Japanese calendar tradition of Ichiryumanbaibi when a single seed symbolizes abundant growth. The song celebrates small choices that make room for joy. A warm cup of tea. A message to someone you miss. One good thing written down before sleep.

Clear and tender female vocals meet acoustic guitar and gentle piano in a nostalgic sound that carries quiet longing toward hope.

You do not have to wait until everything is perfect. Let one small step today become a memory your future self will treasure.

Artist Profile

  • WarakuWaraton

Waraku Waraton is a music project focused on creating sounds that gently ease the heart. Inspired by quiet moments, unspoken emotions, and the spaces between words, the music offers a sense of calm and emotional warmth. Rather than fitting into a single genre, Waraku Waraton blends ambient, mellow, and introspective elements to create music that feels soft, honest, and human. The goal is not to impress, but to accompany. Music for late nights, slow mornings, and moments when you simply want to breathe. Waraku Waraton creates soundscapes that invite listeners to pause, let go, and reconnect with inner calm. The music gently reminds us that it is okay to stop, rest, and feel.
