Yamikakushi to Release New Single "Naraku no Hana" on Tuesday, September 2nd - Their First in About Two Years!

In addition to releasing their own music videos on YouTube, Yamikakushi also regularly hosts live streams. Although live performances are relatively few, the artist has listeners all across Japan. In 2023, despite having performed fewer than ten live shows, Yamikakushi advanced to the Grand Prix Final of OTONOVA 2023.

Afterwards, activities were put on hold, but in February 2025, the opening of "Chapter II" was announced, marking a new phase of growth, and the artist is now energetically active again.

This work introduces a new element: collaboration with AI. The lyrics were written by Risasuke, composition was co-created by AI and Yamikakushi, arrangement was handled by Kamimooo, and mixing/mastering was done in cooperation with Manabu of MYBOX. The cover art was designed by Risasuke, who is also a designer.

The lyrics were originally written by Risasuke in 2021, inspired by the restrictions, anxieties, and economic impact caused by the global terror of the Coronavirus in 2020, as well as the courage to rise from despair and the hope for a brighter future. Now, with the restart of Yamikakushi's activities, the song has been re-arranged with AI, resulting in a piece that embodies Yamikakushi's signature style: piercing lyrics combined with a sound that is both intense and fantastical.
