TYC is a Japanese "City Pop" band from Toyocho in Koto Ward, a vibrant urban city in the Tokyo bay area. This two-track single, including their latest song, was produced ahead of their solo live show "Umete Toyosu," which will be held at a concert hall in Koto Ward on November 29, 2025. "Umete Toyosu" is a song that pays homage to 70s city pop, depicting the past and present of Toyosu, Koto Ward. The memorable refrain of "Toyosu" makes it a song that could become TYC's new signature song. "Oedo Yasai Monogatari" is a gospel-style song themed around Kameido Radish, a specialty of Kameido, Koto Ward. It is an ambitious piece incorporates a structure crafted like club music into a band sound.

    TYC is a Japanese "City Pop" band from Toyocho in Koto Ward, a vibrant urban city in the Tokyo bay area. The band was formed in 2018 by two local musicians and their session crew. They released the debut album "Toyocho Suite" in April 2021. They are transmitting "Koto City Pop" which is inspired by the scenes cut out from the city.
