Maho- contacted me and asked if I wanted to make a 4-5 song EP with him. I sent him my stock of fast BPM songs, and he said, "I can use all of them." I thought, "No way," and within 3 days we had 5 songs, and then we decided to add more, so I made beats and threw them out, and maho- put lyrics on them and sent them right back. This EP went pretty smoothly. (MIZU9PERCENT)

I thought I liked MIZU9PERCENT's beat so I contacted her, but the beat she gave me was not the chill beat I was expecting. But I like that kind of thing, so I could afford it. I had a great time. There was not one moment when I was sober. When I realized it was over, it was over. That's how I feel about this EP. (maho-)

    Rapper/Beatmaker based in Naoshima, Kagawa. He is a member of NewNipponAssociation with massiro, kanarina with his pianist sister Rina Kohmoto, and Final Weapon Company organized by HANG. Besides hiphop, he likes trance, psychedelic, ambient, and vocaloid elements in his music, and his lyrics are influenced by nothingness and shrooms, which he became obsessed with as a teenager. He loves animals, especially cats.

  • MIZU9PERCENT

    As a kid, I didn't have any friends, so I enjoyed digging for music. Around 2016, despite having a house to live alone, I started going to Okinawa/604 and that's when my life started to go crazy. I was in charge of playing good music I found recently and was mysteriously made a DJ, but the psychological stress was too much for me and I quit immediately. In 2021, while living a NEET life in Yokohama, she started making beats in a drunken stupor because he had nothing to do. Her music is characterized by the freedom to make what she wanted to make at that time.
