JACKPOT031は北海道生まれ、北海道育ちのアーティスト。 アーティスト名は、昔吸っていたタバコの銘柄と適当な数字。 作詞についてはオリジナルで、曲とボーカルはAIを活用している。また、イラスト制作についてもAIを活用している。 音楽活動を始めるきっかけは、自らの作った楽曲を世に送り出したいという純粋な思いがあったからだが、楽器が演奏できず、楽譜も読めないし、歌も上手くは歌えないという欠点があったため諦めていた。 しかし、昨今のAI技術の進化により、自身が書いた歌詞を楽曲にする可能性を見つけ、現在に至る。 2024年10月24日、1stシングルの「漂う星のように」をYouTubeで公開したことで、音楽活動の一歩を踏み出した。 AIは「創作の壁を乗り越える希望の星」と考え、自分と同じような理由で創作を諦めている人が、自分と同様にAIを使い、表現の裾野を広げる存在が増えることが業界の変革や維持に繋がるのではないかと考えている。
