Tokyo-based four-piece rock band "hardnuts" has released its third single "waypoint. As the title "waypoint" implies, the album is a musical relay point between the previous album "meltaway" and the next album, which is scheduled to be released next time. The album contains three songs: a completely new song, a familiar number, and a remake of a song produced in the past.
Recording, mixing, and mastering were done by Tomoro Shimada, who has worked with Sedai, yubiori, and kurayamisaka.

    Alternative rock band launched in Tokyo in the fall of 2022. The band is active at live houses in Shimokitazawa, Shinjuku, and other locations in Tokyo. In August 2023, they released their first mini-album "meltaway" and held a release event in September 2023, which was sold out. In July 2024, they released their 3rd single "waypoint". The release event in August of the same year was also sold out.
