Someday's Gone
Someday's Gone is a rock band formed in 2015 in Utsunomiya, Japan.
In 2020, they launched their own circuit-style event, INDIE MANNERS COLLECTIVE, based in their hometown, with the aim of leaving behind a cultural legacy through honest passion in the place they were born and raised.
Influenced by 1990s US rock, the band is characterized by introspective lyrics and a perspective that captures emotions found in everyday life, creating songs that reflect feelings as they exist in the present moment.
"FUN." is a song that explores subtle discomforts and unresolved emotions within daily life.
Set against a light and driving band sound, it weaves together feelings that are neither fully serious nor clearly optimistic-emotions that sit somewhere between moving forward and giving up.
Rather than relying on excessive expression, the song calmly captures the ambiguity and instability hidden behind the word "fun."
It offers exaggerated covers for ordinary days, and exaggerated investments in our own forward motion.
