Smoke signal, additional notes is the fifth album by Akita-based rapper Rakan.
This album was produced with the image of a sequel to his second album Smoke signal released in 2018, and includes "We Are AKITA!! - 2024 -", a new recording of the official support song for the J-League soccer club Blaublitz Akita with a band arrangement,
"Runner Sweep", which sings of his love for baseball to the extent that he joined a professional baseball team's fan club,
"I got a name", which describes his journey from when he started his music career to the present,
"Pre-war Remix feat. D.A.1 (NEVER FADE)", "Feel on you feat. haruka (Hold Out Hope)", and other songs with guest appearances by artists who are part of the Akita band scene.
Artist Profile
RAKAN
A rapper from Akita Prefecture. He started his career in 2005. He will release a total of seven EPs and albums by 2024. After a successful career in Tokyo, he moved to his hometown of Akita and is expanding his activities with a focus on rap/HipHop, including TV and radio personality, annual solo concerts in halls, hosting events, and giving lectures at schools.
