Singer KANATSU will release her long awaited new album "Prayer" dedicated to everyone whose life has been affected by the COVID global pandemic.

As KANATSU as her artist name, this will be her first album release. Each of her songs has a universal message and a sense of prayer for our everchanging and uncertain life due to the pandemic.

From the classic ballads for the healing of the heart to the melodious and acoustic ballads for the easing of the soul, this album contains 10 songs from various genres that will bring you the sense of prayer delivered through KANATSU's ethereal voice. This album includes songs that KANATSU has written over the years, original songs written by Japanese and Korean songwriters, and even an all-English lyric song.

The lead song of the album, "You" is set to be released on March 25th. This ballad is featured as the theme song for the movie "Gikyodai" featuring Seiji Chihara.

"Tomodachi No Teigi", the sole medium tempo song in the album starts off with a line from the world famous magician, Cyril. This song features KANATSU's jazzy vocals along with a Latin and pop music fusion creating a unique, mature sound.

In June, an album full of entertainig, colorful dance music is set to be released digitally. This album will be the opposite of this ballad centered album which will highlight KANATSU's multi-faceted background in entertainment that dates back to her childhood. Stillness and Movement, both of what KANATSU possesses in her music are a must-hear.

Born in the ancient capital of Japan, Kyoto, KANATSU has studied various types of dancing including ballet, jazz, tap, social, traditional, and hip hop from her youth. At the age of 17, she made her debut as a dance unit at a major record label, Crown Records. Her song was selected to be played in Art Corporation's nationwide commercial and her career as an artist took off. Recognized highly by renowned producers such as Seikou Nagaoka, BANANA ICE, Kosuke Kamishin, KANATSU has successfully released 2 albums. Where covering a song is considered the hallmark of showcasing one's talent, KANATSU covered one of Japanese favorites, "Koibito Yo" which was played on NHK-FM, Nippon Broadcasting, KBS Kyoto and went on to go viral. 2015, artist KANATSU begins. She starts off her new career with songs being featured as soundtracks for TV drama "Hanbun Aoi", movie "Imagination Game" and more. March 25, 2021, "You" is released as the theme song for "Gikyodai" featuring Seiji Chihara. Her long awaited new album "Prayer" will be digitally released on April 3rd!!
