Rare in Japan's drag queen scene, she's renowned more for her MCing and announcing than her performances. From stage MC work and talk live events to talk shows, she's active as a commentator on TV. Recently, unusually for the drag queen world, she's made a name for herself as a radio queen.

Having been immersed in diverse cultures and music since childhood, and drawing on sensibilities and experiences cultivated through overseas living and airline work, she has served as an apparel brand director and contributed to numerous music productions for renowned artists.

Her first solo radio program in recent years, ABC Radio's "Samantha Anansa's DOUP" (every Saturday night from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM), serves as an opportunity for more people to discover her unique qualities. In October 2025, coinciding with an expanded program lineup, she began work on creating the show's image song.

Drawing from listener messages that often touch on daily struggles and life's dilemmas, the song incorporates the suffocating pressures and contradictions of modern society. Moreover, the meaning behind "881" (YABAI) and its incorporation into the title and lyrics was apparently inspired by advice from none other than a star of the drag queen community in Japan...?!
