When you don't know where you are, the best way is to look up at the sky. If it's the night sky, it's even better. The stars in the winter sky make you open your arms wide and take a deep breath. Then, one by one, from the silence, a melody that makes you smile begins to play music that is absorbed into your earlobes. In the depths of your eyes, a symphony orchestra is playing melody that pulsates with your heartbeat as it reaches the stars.
Electric Violinist / KORG WaveDrummer / Composer / Narrator / Al-Koh *** Born in 1962, Shizuoka, Japan. Desire to express with the western music instrument and electrified gear, the feeling for the great nature talk and exquisite noises like common human behavior and habit as meaningful whispering from all phenomena. I believe that is me, true self and confidence, toward the open minded actual world. My recording style is simple. The sound I would love to have is that from the monitor at the live audience, so that one track, one take, play at once, recording through pick-up microphone direct. I do not mix other takes at track down. That excepts when I play more than 2 different instrument. Musically, I pay deep respect to Toru Takemitsu and Isao Tomita for truly incredible creativity and method breaking experiments. And to my mentor Jazz drummer Motohiko Hino for drumming configuration as well as musical attitude. All the photos on my pages are shot by myself, including cover jackets.
