Sakurayama was born from a simple desire: to turn the town where I grew up into a song.
Located in Showa Ward, Nagoya, Sakurayama is a place where generations of students, families, and local residents have shared their daily lives. For more than fifty years, this town has witnessed my joys, struggles, and personal journey.
More than a song about nostalgia, Sakurayama is a tribute to a place that continues to evolve while preserving its unique spirit. It reflects the memories we carry, the people we meet, and the hope that connects our past, present, and future.
This song is my love letter to Sakurayama, a neighborhood in Nagoya, Japan.
