E-Magination -Live at Blues Alley Japan-

Senri Kawaguchi, one of Japan's top drummers active on the global stage, will release her first live album, *E-Magination - Live at Blues Alley Japan -*, on August 26.
Senri Kawaguchi began playing the drums at age 5 and quickly made a name for herself; at age 8, she began studying under Kozo Suganuma, known as the "King of Drumming." She subsequently gained worldwide attention-primarily on YouTube-as a "genius high school girl" and continues to perform daily with top-tier artists both in Japan and abroad. Known for her powerful yet precise playing, she is now recognized as one of Japan's leading drummers. Her drumming videos have attracted attention from around the world, with total views exceeding approximately 54 million.

This release marks Senri Kawaguchi's first solo album in approximately 5 years and 8 months and is her fifth album overall. It is also her first live album. Recorded over two days on June 3 and 4 at Blues Alley Japan in Tokyo, it is sure to be a superb album that allows listeners to experience Senri Kawaguch's powerful and passionate performance in a more direct way.
Nine of the ten tracks on the album are Senri Kawaguchi's original compositions. The setlist offers a rich variety, ranging from aggressive numbers to sophisticated ballads, and anticipation is high to see how each song will be reimagined in its live version. The sole cover song, "Winds," was composed by the late Kozo Suganuma, the drummer under whom Senri Kawaguchi studied, and conveys her deep respect and admiration for her "master."
We hope you'll look forward to this new album, where you can fully savor the music of Senri Kawaguchi-who continues to thrive across genres, generations, and borders, having evolved even further.
