• ASPHALTIC WIZARDS - THE CYBER GOTHIC SOUND UNIT -

  A cyber gothic sound unit where virtual and reality intersect, with virtual singer Karin Natsuki, composed by composer Ayuka Kurosaki, as the main vocalist. The band's characteristic is a modern and fantastical worldview that fuses authentic gothic sounds such as majestic pipe organs and glittering harpsichords with EDM and intense backing guitars, creating a fleeting yet intense worldview. Kurosaki also began writing novels in January 2024, and began serializing the modern low fantasy novel series [CODE:AW] on a major novel submission site. The worldview of ASPHALTIC WIZARDS is based on this novel, and it is possible to explore the deep world through both sound and novel aspects. The music expresses the worldview of CODE:AW, which is the battle between modern magicians (ASPHALTIC WIZARDS) who hate being called witches and the government armies of various countries, the girls of Alsard Girls' Academy who control spiritual powers, and the suffering and conflict of ordinary women who have awakened to magical powers. In the future, they plan to continue their activities with an eye on creating more songs, novels, and even live performances.
