[Meditation Selection II]
While cognitive therapy originated as a treatment approach focused on thoughts, the field has evolved with the times. Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) has developed it into a treatment that works through sensation and bodily awareness.
In recent years, I feel that elements of Buddhism (with religious aspects removed) and yoga-like practices have crossed over with psychology, creating more borderless therapeutic approaches. In sensation-based treatments, I believe music plays a significant role in supporting and deepening those sensory experiences.
Even in practices such as body scan meditation, I have found that using soothing meditation music as background sound is more effective than performing it in silence.
This collection was carefully selected specifically for use during meditation. However, please feel free to use it for yoga sessions, relaxation time, or any healing moment in your daily life. It is my hope that these pieces by MASA Otsubo will act as a gentle spice to support your healthier and more fulfilling life.
Psychological producer and certified psychologist who creates healing music with a composition method that makes full use of the 1/f fluctuation rule. He has treated more than 10,000 people in psychiatric hospitals and businesses. MASA stands for Mentalhealth And Social Action. [Meditation Selection] Cognitive therapy used to be a treatment method based on thinking, but as the times have progressed, mindfulness cognitive therapy has developed into a treatment method based on sensations. Recently, I feel that the elements of Buddhism, which has eliminated religiousness, and the elements of yoga have crossed over with psychology, and have become a borderless treatment method. I feel that music, which supports the senses, plays a major role in the treatment of the senses. Even in meditation methods such as body scan meditation, I feel that it is more effective to perform meditation music as background music than to do it silently. I selected it for meditation, but I hope that you can use it freely for yoga and other healing times, and that it will be a spice for a better and healthier life. We did [Meditation Selection] from the healing songs.
