Dog River Gatling - 2nd Full Album by Callthrow
Callthrow, an independent band based in Kofu, Yamanashi, Japan, presents their second full-length album, Dog River Gatling.
Formed in 2009, the band has built a strong presence through extensive live performances, primarily in Japan's live-house circuit. Featuring 13 tracks, the album expands upon their established sound, combining the raw energy and momentum of punk and rock 'n'roll with Callthrow's distinctive sense of humor and sentimentality.
The album includes the previously released tracks "Zenzen Daijōbu!", "Midori-chan," and "Yubae," alongside songs that capture the band's dynamic live energy and others that place greater emphasis on melody and lyrical expression. Throughout the album, their straightforward rock sound is paired with lyrics drawn from the details and emotions of everyday life.
Dog River Gatling is a concise reflection of where Callthroww stand today - a full-length album that brings together the energy, songwriting, and experience they have developed through years of playing in live houses across Japan.
