  • Tomotaka Imamichi

    Born October 12, 1959 in Tokyo Debuted in 1984 as a leader of BARBEE BOYS in charge of guitar. He is in charge of writing and composing most of the songs, including the band's hit songs "Come Close Your Eyes," "Makeru Monka," and "Me Gitsune on the Run." Since he was a member of Barbee Boys, he has provided music to "Kenji Sawada"and"Kaori Kawamura" and participated in recordings such as "PSY . S", "Misato Watanabe", "Motoharu Sano", and "Yosui Inoue" as guitarists. In 1985, he was in charge of composing "Seiko Matsuda" and "Hugging in the backyard garage" under the name of "Chuck Mouton" (included in the album "Strawberry Time"). After the dissolution, he performed solo under the name of "Love Dynamights". Since 1994, he has been active in "Kei-Tee + LOVE DYNAMIGHTS" with "Kei-Tee" (currently Keiko Kadokawa) and "Wataru Kamiryo" (formerly Grass Valley). In 2004, he announced "SLOW RIDE" under the name of Tomotaka Imamichi Solo. In April 2008, the members deepened their exchanges with the one-night-only BARBEE BOYS revival appearance on Fuji TV "SMAP x SMAP", and in August of the same year they performed at the summer festival, and on September 21, 2009. On the occasion of celebrating the 25th anniversary of his debut, he went on a national tour for the first time in 17 years. Produced, arranged and participated as a guitar player in the title song of the single "Ariamaru Tomi" of "Ringo Sheena" released on May 27, 2009. Participated in the 20th anniversary album "Sky's My Limit" of "Kyoko" released on October 3, 2012. Produced the song "Anata ni Addiction with Ima Michi Tomotaka & OKAMOTO'S" released on July 3, 2013. In 2014, he formed the band "Hitosarai" with "Junpei Shiina", "Makinobu Hirayama" and "Yuzo Oka", and released his 1st album in November 2015. Written, composed and produced "Ikasama Bidanshi feat. Linda" from "Ikasama Bidanshi feat. Linda / Magenta Butterfly", a double A-side single of "Kyoko" released on September 28, 2016. In August 2017, they released a co-composition "Do it well" under the name of "Tomotaka Imamichi and Takashi Hamazaki". Every month for 4 months from November 2020, the new sensation studio LIVE entertainment video "Don't stop the turtle! (Inviting guest artists to the recording studio, recording each other's repertoire and newly written songs in a studio live format. Session documentary video content containing abundant off-shots and talks leading up to the completion of the ensemble) Announced. In February 2022, "Tomotaka Imamichi" will release Solo Full Album for the first time in 18 years!
