"The 8-bar Award" short music contest was held with only one entry requirement: "8 bars". The judges included m-flo's *Taku Takahashi, Man With A Mission's DJ Santa Monica, BANVOX, buzzG, and other professionals in various genres, and the event was sponsored by TuneCore Japan, Crypton Future Media, and others in collaboration with Nico Nico Douga and nana. TuneCore Japan, Crypton Future Media, etc. were invited as sponsors. The winning songs were selected from a total of 2,400 entries in 4 categories under strict screening by a panel of judges. This short music compilation album is composed entirely of the "winning songs and other excellent songs" from the ROCK/POPS music category.
Included in the collection is "Hito no fune / Ichikawa sora", which won the overall grand prix. "Yuyake Keisatsu ~Kitate Hen~ Opening Theme / chihitek", a Showa-era detective drama-style song with a quality that doesn't stop at joke songs. Iconic tune with ironic effect, "Matching Template feat. Yukika / Suzumii". "warm days / Yomoko feat. c" with her charming voice, and other songs and up-and-coming artists who may be a part of the music scene in the future are selected!
