I’ll just take it slow
Take my time to see what’s possible
I’ll just take it slow
Take my time to see what’s possible
In my dreams
It’s just me, myself, and I in the room
Lights and strings with past memories
But instead, now it’s you just watching me from the other side
It’s your centerpiece
“How can one decision change your life?”
Asked myself this countless times
But I won’t again
Just another television guy in their minds
Lost in the city out committing crimes
Am I just a name?
I’ll just take it slow
Take my time to see what’s possible
When I’m feelin’ low
I’ll remember…
Take a step back, keep it moving forward
Slow down like the weather in the fall
I got it together
Hear the forever when you call
Somethin’ ’bout the cadence
That got me feelin’ patient
Got no problem waitin’
For the times we have it all
No matter the circumstance
I stay calm
Peace and love the themes
That we been on
No distractions
Just attraction
I only move when it’s
Time for the action
Issa vibe, we gon’ keep on singin’ that
“Good times in the music, we gon’ bring it back”
It’s my mind, not yours, all mine
Stay in line with the signs
And I’m reading that
Cliché with the ways of a good guy
I keep it simple and remain as I stood high
H Town with the way that I move
If I had to name a person, Sade is the mood
I’ll just take it slow
Take my time to see what’s possible
When I’m feelin’ low
I’ll remember…
Take a step back, keep it moving forward

Take It Slow (feat. TomaFrom86)
EDEN KAI
Take It Slow is a reflective and warm-hearted song about slowing down, trusting your own rhythm, and giving yourself permission to grow at your own pace in a fast-moving world.
The song opens with a quiet moment of solitude, sitting alone with memories, questioning how a single decision can change a life, and wondering who we truly are. From there, it gently unfolds into a message of patience, self-awareness, and forward movement, even through uncertainty.
Built around acoustic guitar and ukulele, layered with a mellow yet rhythmic Amapiano-inspired groove, Take It Slow creates a laid-back sound that feels both intimate and uplifting. The repeated line, Take my time to see what's possible, captures the heart of the song: choosing progress over pressure, and presence over panic.
When feeling low, the song reminds us to breathe, step back, and keep moving forward, no matter the circumstances. It speaks to finding peace in simplicity, staying true to yourself, and letting good energy guide the journey.
With the line Good times in the music, we gon bring it back, the track also pays homage to the healing power of music itself, its ability to restore balance, connection, and positivity.
Take It Slow is a song for late nights, quiet mornings, long drives, and moments of reflection.
A gentle companion that reassures listeners: you dont have to rush, just keep going.
