The opening theme song of NHK World's popular long-lived program "Four Seasons in Japan", which describes the beautiful natural scenery of the Japanese archipelago in the four seasons. This program has been broadcast worldwide since its inception in 2009.

Pianist and composer. Originally from Nagakute City, Aichi, Japan. She graduated from the Dept. of Piano, the University of Music and Performing Arts, Munich, Germany, and the Royal Conservatory in Madrid, Spain. While studying, she had a profound impact from the music of Chucho Valdés, a Cuban Latin jazz pianist, which led her to move to Cuba. When she was teaching at a music school, she developed a musical style that was free spirited and went beyond the world of classical music. She has spent great deal of time visiting various parts of the world, where she admired nature and learned local culture. She draws what she was inspired from the landscapes, daily world, where she admired nature and the lives of the local people, and indigenous cultures. These impressions have been incorporated into her compositions. Currently, she splits her time between her residences in Santiago de Compostela ,Spain, and Kyoto, Japan, and continues to create her music. She has performed at numerous World Heritage sites, such as Kasuga Taisha Shrine, Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Santiago de Compostela Cathedral, and the Mezquita of Córdoba. Additionally, she has composed and supervised music for many NHK television and radio programs. She also offered pre-departure music for an airline programs.
