ニューヨークの美術大学に通いながら音楽制作を続け、作詞作曲からアートワークまで全て彼女自身で手がけるアーティスト。2024年に拠点を東京からニューヨークに移し、ブライアントパークのクリスマスマーケットでの情景からインスピレーションを受けてこの楽曲が生まれた。前作に続き、幼少期からのピアノ経験を活かしたキーボードのリフレインが印象的なContemporary R&Bで、冬の寒さの中でも心に温かさを届けるような、夢に向かって前進する自分の思いを込めた楽曲だ。冬の街角で耳にしたら、まるで自分もその夢を追いかける一歩を踏み出せるような、力強いメッセージが感じられる。
アーティスト情報
créA jeneva
イギリス生まれ、東京出身のアーティスト。 作詞作曲からアートワークまで全て自身で手がけており、デザイン領域でも活動している。早稲田大学を卒業し、ニューヨークのファッション工科大学でグラフィックデザインを学ぶ。 早稲田大学在学中から独学で作曲を始め、その後本格的にsongwritingを勉強。 日常で感じたことや、常識・社会への疑問をテーマに バラードからelectronic pop、r&bなど幅広くオリジナル曲を作っている。 幼少期より習っていたクラシックピアノの影響を受け、リフレインメロディの創作を得意とする。 初リリース曲ではショパンの作品をサンプリングした。 自身の数カ国での生活や多文化に触れる中で語学ごとの発音・表記の違いにも楽しみを感じ、言語学や日本語教育(日本語教育能力検定資格保持)の勉強もしていたことから、歌詞は音の質感を重視している。 また、アメリカへ交換留学時にはアクティングのクラスを受講し、演技など表現を学んだ経験を持つ。
