The Midnight Parade (1)

In Cali, Colombia, the capital of salsa, there is a salsa street. At night, music plays there, and many people come to dance. People dressed in their finest clothes gather from somewhere and begin to parade down the street. It's as if an army is marching. Neon lights twinkle everywhere, and circles of people form all over the place. They are chatting happily with a beer bottle in hand. As the night goes on, the volume of the music increases, and so does the atmosphere. Gradually, people form pairs, twisting their bodies, spinning, and intertwining their legs as they begin to dance.
