Hanamizuki (feat. Yo Hitoto) [Cover]

We covered Hitoto's representative song "Hanamizuki", released in February 2004, as the "Stecchikyuuji Committee (maehuri)".

The original song was written by Hitoto in the wake of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, wishing for the happiness of a friend living in the United States.

In the cover, we kept the original song's kindness and sadness while adding a more modern arrangement.

We produced the song with the participation of Chibana from maebre on drums and Haregen, formerly of Asitakarahongi, on bass.

We used the sound of the piano and strings to create a more grand and dramatic atmosphere, and we created the rap reflecting the feelings of the original song.

"Hanamizuki" is one of Japan's most representative songs. We hope that this cover will help to convey the message of the original song and the beauty of the hanamizuki.
