大人メロウなAORテイストの極み
贅沢なシンガー陣の感動的なうたものの存在感と、日本ドリーム・チーム的スーパー・プレイヤーが集結した高次元な生演奏の快感が嬉しい、デビュー30周年記念作品。




松原作品では珍しくボーカル起用楽曲多数収録。なんと3曲で歌っている佐藤竹善（シング・ライク・トーキング）はじめ、根本要（スターダスト・レビュー）、高尾直樹、石井一孝といった贅沢な人選による本格的なうたものだ。
さだまさしの書き下ろし作詞曲があったりするのも見逃せない。ボーカルに対して見事に添い遂げる松原のギター・ワーク（バッキング・アプローチ）も当然注目だ。
演奏面でも村上‘ＰＯＮＴＡ’秀一（Ｄｒ）、渡嘉敷祐一（Ｄｒ）、後藤次利（Ｂ）、井上鑑（Ｋｅｙ）、岡沢章（Ｂ）、斉藤ノブ（Ｐｅｒ）、南部昌江（Ｋｅｙ）といった特別な朋友たちが加わり、まさに日本を代表するドリーム・チームとなっている。

高いレヴェルにおいて清々しく気持ち良さそうな生演奏は随所にハイライトが！今回はボーカル曲との対比からか、インスト曲での松原のホット＆ソウルフルな歌心満点のギター・ソロも実にグっと来る仕上がり。
ジャンルにとらわれないグッド・ミュージックに焦点を絞り込んだ本作は、メロディック、ファンキー、ドライヴィンといったポジティヴさが際立ち痛快だ。デビュー30周年記念にふさわしいスペシャル感をご堪能あれ！

  • Masaki Matsubara

    Masaki Matsubara, the most trusted session player in Japan, had supported Japanese pop music with his singing guitar for many years. Since his debut at the age of 23, he had participated in recording over 10,000 songs. His guitar play was indispensable for the recording of Japanese big star artists such as Yumi Matsutoya, Seiko Matsuda and etc. His splendid ad-lib solo of J-Pop masterpiece Midnight Door, Stay With Me, by Miki Matsubara, which is lately popular all over the world, is still impressive for everyone. He produced Rachel Bissey's CD in which he perfomed with Joe Sample, Alex Acun, Neil Larsen and etc. Since releasing his first solo album RUUMU Sand in 1978, he had released 24 solo albums and 3 best albums. However MasakiMatsubara's guitar play is still heard all over the world today, unfortunately Masaki Matsubara passed away in 2016 due to illness. It is planned that the past albums of Masaki Matsubara will be delivered sequentially one by one in music distribution service very soon.
