墨のぬくもり まだ残り
誰もいない机の上で
言葉は静かに 世界を開く
黒は闇じゃない 始まりの色
一線ごとに 景色は澄んでいく
奇跡は祈りじゃなく
掌から そっと立ち上がるもの
迦楼羅は 空を飛び 火を吹く
風が紙をめくるたび
顔真卿の無念の奥で
一本の線が 運命を起こす
「仏とは何か」と問う声に
雲門がふっと 微笑むように
「乾屎橛すら 宇宙のかけらだ」と告げる

"Kara kise The miracle of the crow " is a song born from the February 2024 chapter of The Dictionary Journey
a path that traces its way from karasu (crow) to kiseki (miracle),
woven into a single narrative.
The stillness before dawn,
the lingering warmth of ink,
the fire carried by Garuda across the sky,
and the unfulfilled devotion within Yan Zhenqing's stroke
these moments let the world of calligraphy and the pages of the dictionary overlap,
revealing the light that rises from a single line of black.
A miracle is not merely prayer;
it breathes in the "now" of the one who reaches out and writes.
Black is not darkness it is the color of beginnings.
This conviction is shaped gently into sound throughout the piece.
From reading the dictionary, copying its words,
and lifting each character through the art of calligraphy,
"Karakise" emerges as a true "dictionary poetry-song,"
unique to Kneeking Records.

kneeking Records
Kneeking Records is an independent music label devoted to capturing the soul of the Dictionary Journey through sound. Founded by Yoshihiro Sato a calligrapher, language pilgrim, and former world kickboxing champion the label weaves together words, rhythm, and voice to create a truly distinctive musical world. Since 2013, Sato has been reading Japanese dictionaries one page at a time, drawing inspiration from each definition to craft poetry, music, and calligraphy. This ongoing project, known as Jisho no Tabi (Dictionary Journey), continues to evolve with every passing day.
