  • Rie Mitsutake

    Rie Mitsutake is a Japanese musician. In the early 2000s, she began creating music through home recording as a project of self-expression. She has released two solo albums under the name Miko on labels both in Japan and abroad. Rooted in electronica with vocals, she consistently create works with a unique aesthetic that crosses genres and borders. In addition to many collaborations with international artists, she was also part of Oh, Yoko, a duo with the American ambient musician Will Long. After a period devoted to raising a child and recharging, she self-released the album Across the Water Mirror in 2025, focusing on piano and vocals. She began a more active new phase from 2026 onward.
