This is the first mixtape under the new name of DSXTX (read: D-SETO), a rapper who has garnered attention for his style that draws influence from gangsta rap of the American South.
As the title suggests, "New name, same as always," this mixtape has the same rough charm and G-sense as before. Produced by KAY DIEGO, aka KVY DIXGO, with whom he has worked on many great songs, CRIMSXN, who also participated in his previous album "BRUTAL NIGHTMARE vol. 2," and the phonk-oriented producer BuntaSparks. The beats are Memphis-style dark lines and melancholy mellow, and DSXTO's raps are colored with southern manner styles such as packed and loose flows. FreekoyaBoiii, whose tag-team effort with Yvngboi P, "F's Uppp 2," was the talk of the town last year, joins DSXTO as a guest performer.
