Sho Nakayama, a singer-songwriter who continues to write songs while living with his wife and two children in Gifu City, Gifu Prefecture.
New album "Talk to yourself"
It consists entirely of voice and guitar.
Most of the songs are one-shot recordings in the studio.
Rubbing guitar strings. breathe. Ambient that flows in the room.
Everything is recorded as music with careful miking.

The number of tracks and information in recent music is enormous, but this music is only 3 tracks.
Just guitars, voices and studio atmosphere.
I thought about the significance of making music with the smallest track.
Sound, air and silence that exist in the world now.
There is a lot of information here too.
I want you to relax and listen. You should be able to hear various sounds.

"Clerk and the Sea", "Convenience Store Owner's Blues", "The World Where Children Are Laughing", and "Recluse's Lighthouse" are songs in a poetry reading style.
Representative songs such as "Yuhi", "Harmony", "Sylvia Cafe" and "Sakura wa Kibou" are recorded in a monologue style.

This album will be released for the first time
"Christmas and Space Encyclopedia" is about his son's passion for space. The scenery we went for a walk together on a night when we cried. A song that cut out etc.
"Where are the whales?" something that must be protected. A song that compares to a whale.

The recording engineer is Tritone Studio, a jazz drummer and composer.
Created in collaboration with Mr. Yuki Morishima.

It's a full-blown album where you can feel a certain emotion in the silence.
