"1on1" is a collaborative album between Mob Trio, an art teacher at a Tokyo public high school, and his student k4yle, a high school senior and beatmaker.
All beats are crafted by k4yle, with Mob Trio delivering the vocals.

More than a teacher-student project, this is a raw one-on-one exchange - a confrontation through hip-hop.

Rooted in trap, the album captures a wide emotional spectrum through its production, while the lyrics reflect the intersection of two generations: a teenager and a man in his 30s.

While Mob Trio usually takes the role of a teacher, this project reveals a reversal - a process of learning from the instincts and sensibilities of youth.
