SHADOW

This track was written specifically for "UNTITLED", a project that fuses the sensibilities of an automotive designer with the spirit of cyberpunk.

The vocals are performed by singer Yasue Niwayama, whose expressive voice adds depth and intimacy to the work.

SHADOW was created from the idea of imagining the emotions that arise between two distinct existences.
The lyrics depict the figure of someone who continues to think of another person, yet the object of that feeling is deliberately left undefined.

The "someone" suggested here is an open presence, entrusted to the listener's imagination and intentionally left ambiguous to allow for multiple interpretations.
This "someone" is conceived as another self that exists within, and its symbolic form is named Shadow (SHADOW).

Through this work, listeners are invited to reflect on another aspect of themselves while engaging with the lyrics.
Even if that aspect is not a preferred or idealized self, the intention is not to reject it, but to acknowledge and accept its existence.

This song is dedicated to the self that belongs to no one else, and to the inner world that is often overlooked.
