"Still, You Never End"
Nushi-sama, mada owarimasenu na.
Deep in the forest, a full tanuki smiles as the wind begins to breathe.
The nameless Master turns silence into melody
a song that captures the warmth between what fades and what remains.
Chosen as the "Nu" song in The Journey of the Dictionary,
this work by Guwashi unfolds as a philosophical hymn
where English and Japanese quietly intertwine,
and calligraphy and music merge into one gentle prayer.
Still, You Never End
It is the song of an endless beginning.
Kneeking Records / Written by Guwashi
Kneeking Records is an independent music label that transforms The Dictionary Journey into sound. The label was founded by Yoshihiro Sato, a calligrapher, a lifelong dictionary traveler, and a former kickboxing world champion. Since 2013, he has been reading Japanese dictionaries page by page writing, reflecting, and sharing words every single day. In 2025, those accumulated words and rhythms began to take musical form. The Dictionary Journey continues to this day, growing quietly and steadily, with each new word adding another layer to its living archive. Kneeking Records moves freely across genres Reggae, J-Pop, R&B, Soul, House, Gospel, Funk, Ska, and at times even Punk Rock always in pursuit of sounds that feel good to the ear. Through the rhythm of language and the intersection of calligraphy and voice, the label delivers music shaped by a distinctly personal sensibility. Before words become meaning, they already have sound. Before sound is explained, it reaches the heart. Trusting that moment, Kneeking Records keeps turning pages and keeps letting the music speak.
