    Vocalist Shunsuke Fuji, who was active as a street musician while living in New York, became convinced that Japan's unique local art can be applied globally after returning to Japan. He formed the rock band "GOWLD" with the mission of playing music that only Japanese people could do. The band name "GOWLD" has the meaning of "GOOD and OLD", that is, respecting the good old Japanese tradition, and "GOLD", which means creating works whose value does not change over time, like gold.
