[Profile] THE KING OF ROOKIE is a punk rock band from Niigata that mainly performs live all over the country. In December 2023, Takato Nasuno (Gt) joined the band at a one-man live show in Niigata, Tokyo, and in 2024, they started performing with a new four-person lineup. In February 2024, they held a tour to debut the four-person lineup in five locations, including Sendai, Osaka, Kanazawa, Nagoya, and Tokyo, and sold out tickets for the Tokyo performance. The digital release of the first single by the four-person lineup, "Aionchu" (read: I want you), which is only available online, has been decided for Wednesday, March 27th! The songs included are "fall in love Ai" and "Aibaka Urusee", and express the unique worldview of the life-sized Suzuki Rin (Vo, Gt), who wrote the lyrics and composed the music, who gets rid of various emotions, accepts everything, and approaches everyone with love. For the first time, InuNingen (Dr) joined as a co-writer for "Ai Ai Ai Ai," making the song even more polished. A nationwide tour of 9 locations will begin on Tuesday, May 7th at Shinjuku Marble!
