Jun-Maki-Dou is a Chin-Dong Group. we wear Japanese Kimono's an love playing traditional music. but to tell the truth, we just just enjoy receiving a big round of applause from the crowd, so we compose and play our drums. for us, your "momite" (hand clap) is the most important part. Once you'll listen to our album for the beginning to the end, the first annoying sound of our "kane" (bells) will become cheerful and relaxing. you might even wonder why there is no kane in other music genre. we wish you'll quickly get use to our melody and rhythm, and will warm up your hand for some nice clap! Jun-Maki-Dou as a member of Kabocha Shōkai, the pioneer of the neo-ChinDong style, Jun ( playing the ChinDong Drum) and Maki ( playing the Goross) formed Jun-Maki-Dou in 2010. the actual member gathered in 2013. with colorful costumes and catchy phrases, cheerful ChinDong music brings Happiness and good fortune everywhere on it path. we play to promote shops and festivals, go around schools and kinder-garden to preserve Japanese traditional music. the "ChinDong Engeijō" is our original "Yose" style live. in Autumn 2016, we released our first album " Appare Jamboree" including mainly original songs.
