"Gonna Love Me," the new single from Micro from Def Tech, explores the emotional turmoil of knowing a relationship is over, yet being unable to let go.

Lonely when they're together, sleepless when they're apart. Kindness sparks hope that leads to hurt, yet even coldness cannot make the narrator turn away. Told through an intimate first-person perspective, the lyrics trace feelings too complicated to be explained by love alone.

The recurring line "I know you're gonna love me" echoes both a longing to be loved someday and an attempt at self-reassurance. Set against the confession "I know it's already over / Even though I know," it reveals emotions that reason cannot resolve.

"Do you feel this way too? Or is it just me?"
