At the end of 2018, he emerged as an artist with the release of his first EP "Ultimate Nerd Gang" and soon after released "Mall Tape" as Mall Boyz with Tohji. In contrast to Tohji, gummyboy's unpretentious character resulted in gaining his own strong fan base.
This album "How you feeling" is his first release in about a month since "game" was released in June with Gokou Kuyt as a guest performer.
It was produced by kyazm from the Tokyo-based neo-hyperpop duo SATOH. The track starts with a guitar sound and develops into a hybrid, and the content matches gummyboy's typical flow with realistic lyrics that purely reflects his own life and feelings.
