Second Season

All I Want Is the Feeling

    dubreenu donuuve

Now it is the Reiwa era, the year 2025, but this album gathers songs that were sung between 1990 and 2012. Even the newest among them is already thirteen years old. I saw many different landscapes. They all came to different ends. But in any case, I was always sad. That is why I needed a lot of alcohol. Unless I dulled my brain with alcohol or some other means, reality would crush me.

Only in the back alleys at midnight could I breathe. Under the dim streetlights, I could always spot the sleeping cats, no matter how far away they were.

And then there was the money. Maybe because I always walked with my head down, I kept finding money. A wrinkled thirty thousand yen bill lying in a puddle-I picked it up and dried it with an electric fan. There was no salvation anywhere, but I could not abandon hope. Yet that very refusal to give up hope became the cause of suffering. That was how I lived.

What? Now? Well...yes, of course, I am still sad.
(Because I am alive.)
