"Hatsukoi Confusion" is a solo song by Chihaya Amamiya from the idol duo "Asaren Coffee Break".
The story begins when she gets a message from a boy she likes while casually playing a mobile game. Even though she feels secretly happy, she replies with a cool "Iketa-ra iku ne", pretending not to care. It is the start of a clumsy and confusing first love.
When they meet at a cafe, she is surprised by his unexpected charm and finds her heart slowly shifting. Even though he is not her "type", she wonders, "Will I start to like him more and more?" She cannot express everything through words, so she tries to convey her feelings through small gestures, eye contact, and the tone of her voice.
"Your honest eyes pull me in... I cannot resist the beam raining down on me... Maybe I am falling in love!?"
She wants to know where this love will lead, yet she is scared of the answer.
