SOUNDS is a Japan-based reggae and dancehall music project born from the vibrant atmosphere of a yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) restaurant in Okinawa.
This release is built around the concept of "Yakiniku Reggae," where cuts of meat such as karubi, tan, and rosu are personified as a diva-like character known as Meat DIVA, delivering playful, sexy, and energetic performances over infectious reggae rhythms.

With character-driven vocals that feel as if the meat itself is singing, SOUNDS creates a unique fusion of food culture, humor, and dancehall energy. The sound combines the global party vibes of artists like Sean Paul and Major Lazer with catchy Japanese pop sensibilities, making it perfectly suited for short-form video platforms such as TikTok and Instagram Reels.
