The world's first film adaptation of the story that inspired the 1876 international million-seller "Grandfather's Clock", composed by American musician Henry Clay Work. The film stars Satoshi Matsuda as Knight, a character from Toei's "Masked Rider Ryuki," and Marika Matsumoto, who is at the peak of her popularity, as Hironein.
The opening theme "Big Old Clock" (English poem) is covered by Jonte and Elianna in their first duet. Image song is provided by Keiji Kawashima with his original song "JOKYOKU / Prelude". The song in the film is sung by Kanzuki . provided the original song "Tsuki ni naru". The ending theme "RIGHT NOW" is sung by Kaname Kawabata (CHEMISTRY), making this film a true music film.
