Artist Profile

  • yubiori

Based in Tokyo and Yokohama, yubiori captivates audiences with words and melodies that speak to those who keep fighting through the struggles of everyday life. Their broad musical range spanning emotional hardcore to indie folk, combined with explosive live performances, is what sets them apart. In 2022, they released their 1st full album yubiori and embarked on a nationwide tour. In 2024, they held their first-ever headline show "ASAP" at Shinjuku Marble. That October, trumpeter Rina Ohno joined as a new member, bringing greater color and depth to their sound. In April 2025, their headline show at Shinjuku Marble sold out. That July, they released their 2nd full album yubiori2 and toured 13 cities across Japan. In December, Gt. Ikuto Matsukawa -- who had long supported the band as a touring guitarist -- officially joined as a full member. In February 2026, they held the largest headline show in the band's history at Shibuya WWWX as the tour finale. With appearances including FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL '25 "ROOKIE A GO-GO" and a special guest slot at KT Zepp Yokohama for the ASH x ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION "Split tour," yubiori continues to grow their presence and anticipation for their next chapter is building. L to R: Ikuto Matsukawa (Gt), Shigeyuki Nakano (Drs), Rina Ohno (Trp), Yoshiaki Tamura (Gt.Vo), Haruki Tojo (Ba), Rimpei Azami (Gt)
