This is a coupling of 2 fan-art imaginary sequel soundtracks of Konami's classic arcade video game "Twin Bee" series, originally released in 1998 and 2000.
The 1998 album came about as an extension from a set of few website-publicized pseudo Twin Bee pieces, as I had recently completed another imaginary game soundtrack called "Project Ys".
The 2000 project came as my collaboration with a Twin Bee fan website called "We love Twinbee's Page", which hosted a fan-fiction concept compilation of the series' imaginary sequel.
Each project was initially released as a separate album, but they were put together in a 2 CD-R set with additional guest arrangements as "Project Twinbee DELUXE PACK" in 2001.
...And finally in 2020, I have come to re-release the soundtracks, which are re-mastered from original recordings.
The album jacket also revives graphic material from the 2001 "DELUXE PACK" design, including some unused at the time. I would like to thank Donpa again for contributing the character and background materials.
Through my musical careers, I intended to preserve and explore the good old spirit that shaped the game music genre in the 80's - 90's. The mushi.net label presents some of my original fan-art works that reflect my passion in that respect through "imaginary sequel" soundtracks of classic video game series of the golden age. Please enjoy! -Atsushi Fukai
