  • ZEBRA ONE

    ZEBRA ONE is a duo consisting of lyricist Elli and composer / sound producer Yudai Suzuki. The two have been friends for many years, having worked together in the music and acting worlds since the 80s. In 2007, they released a collection of songs thru had written together under the name Cross that ZEBRA/ZEBRA ONE. They to perform live and write songs while pursuing third respective solo careers, and in 2017 released their second album, Life is Beautiful/ZEBRA ONE. The10 carefully selected tracks range from jazz to rock and soul. All of them are timeless pop tunes. The voices of the two vocalists, who have garnered numerous fans, are also a highlight! Enjoy their high-pitched voices. The powerful rhythm section of percussionist Mac Shimizu and bassist Hiroshi Kondo, who have supported the duo since the early days of ZEBRA ONE, are an essential part of their sound. They released mini-album, HAPPY/ZEBRA ONE in 2025.
