This is the long-awaited first full-length album from guitarist and composer HIGHLANDARIA, who single-handedly handled composition, arrangement, performance, and audio production.

The album comprises all singles released monthly from July 2024 to May 2025-each newly re-recorded, remixed, and remastered-alongside two brand-new tracks, making a total of 13.
It is, in every sense, the culmination of a yearlong creative journey and a definitive representation of HIGHLANDARIA's musical universe.

Built upon heavy, technically intricate riffs and rapid guitar solos rooted in metalcore and djent, the album boldly incorporates the compositional language of Classical and Romantic music.
It further blends full orchestration, mixed choirs, pipe organ, synthesizers, acoustic guitars, and traditional flutes-transcending genre and era to forge a soundscape that is both diverse and cohesive.

All guitars were performed live, while all other instrumental elements, mixing, and mastering were meticulously programmed and engineered by HIGHLANDARIA.
Bound by the central motif of a Requiem, the sound is both meticulously crafted and emotionally resonant.

Dies Irae
A dramatic piece beginning with pipe organ and solemn choir, later erupting into layers of thick synthesizers and crushing guitar.
With aggressive 7-string djent riffs and fluid solos, this track vividly portrays the merciless upheaval of the Day of Wrath.

Liber Scriptus
Characterized by clear, soaring harmonies of dual female sopranos and a melancholic, modern guitar solo.
It expresses the despair of one witnessing the moment of divine judgment beyond human comprehension.

Judex
A rhythmically complex track based on odd time signatures and polyrhythms, with a progressive metal structure.
Polyrhythmic interplay between guitar and synth evolves into high-speed unison, while pitch-shifted guitar soars in flute- and violin-like registers to depict the severity of the Judge's verdict.

Lacrimosa
Begins with a Celtic-inspired melody on acoustic guitar and flute, flowing into a deeply emotional guitar solo reminiscent of British rock.
The piece carries a dual meaning in its theme of the "Day of Tears," serving also as a heartfelt tribute to a beloved British guitarist who passed away in 2025.

Benedictus
A vibrant, melodic homage to 1980s neoclassical metal.
Featuring triplet-based guitar phrasing, a shuffle beat, and rock organ, this uplifting track boldly proclaims blessing.
Since its release as a single, it has garnered acclaim from listeners worldwide.
