Milet no Makurako builds her music around a voice-and-guitar foundation. darui nichiyobi ("Lazy Sunday") presents two takes on the same song-Band Session Ver. and Home Recording (Lo-fi Ver.)-each re-framing it from a different perspective while keeping her charming sense of melody at the core.

The Band Session Ver. flips the song's previously pop-leaning impression on its head: an intro/outro jam and sequencer-synced interplay give it a minimal yet subtly psychedelic sway. With four players, the vocal outline stays intact as the soundstage alone becomes more dimensional.

The Home Recording (Lo-fi Ver.) transforms the languor into a texture that feels like "being in heaven all the time," leaving a floating, unresolved comfort. It's the same title, yet the listener's emotional foothold shifts-an intentionally spacious single.

Artist Profile

  • Milet no Makurako Band

Millet no Makurako began her activities after uploading her first video to YouTube in 2017 a solo acoustic cover of a song by Ayano Kaneko. Since then, she has expanded her range of expression while releasing a variety of cover songs. After starting to live alone, she created her first original track, Tokoyo Hachijō. In 2021, she released her first album Shinme on streaming platforms. With a down-to-earth warmth, she delivers music that rises naturally from the extension of everyday life. Launched the same year, the Millet no Makurako Band consists of four members who came together by chance. They take a fully collaborative approach to arranging, splitting ideas evenly among the four. Their concept is do it when we feel like it. Staying free and flexible, they weave a single sound together through four different perspectives.
