motoki tanakaが12月15日にシングル「とんぴんしゃん」をリリース。本作は前作「天国へ」に引き続き、3タイトル連続リリースの2作目。タイトル曲は昨年よりサブスクリプションにてライブバージョンがリリースされていたが、改めてスタジオバージョンとして京都と高知でレコーディングされた。
作詞作曲をmotoki tanakaが手がけ、ギター&ボーカルをmotoki tanaka、ベースに平野ヒラリー智之、ドラム&パーカッションに折坂悠太バンドや山本精一バンドに参加するsenoo rickyを迎え行われた。レコーディングエンジニアにはSawa Angstromで活動中のSATOSHI YOSHIOKAと、ex.宇宙人の和田真が参加。また今作のジャケットもmotoki tanakaがデザインを担当している。
12月は8日リリースの先行シングル「天国へ」から始まり、今作の「とんぴんしゃん」、24日リリースの「夜を泳ぐ」の3タイトル連続リリースが決まっている。
また、2024年1月1日にはファーストアルバムのリリースが決定しており、それに先行し12月22日には高知、蛸蔵（たこぐら）にてファーストアルバムリリースライブを開催。
12月1日よりライブ会場限定でLPとCDの先行販売も開始されたので、アナログ音源でも楽しみたい方はライブ情報を要チェック。

motoki tanaka
Musician. He is active as a soloist and in a band. In 2022, he started performing with a band with supporting members. Performed at the Ringo Music Festival in the same year. Released his first album 'motoki tanaka' in December 2023, which was distributed by subscription in January 2024. It swept the charts in Asia, Europe, and other parts of the world. Since then, he has been touring around the world, including tours of Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka, and live performances in Taiwan. As a solo artist, he has developed a live performance of storytelling based on the theme of 'music that brings a scene to life. Released his 2nd Album 'Catch Me If You Can' in April 2025.
