  We formed in August 2024, bringing together former classmates from our high school music club. We are currently based in Tokyo. Tabibitonoki In Tabibitonoki, we intentionally omitted the guitar very element usually central to a band sound. Instead, the track is built on a foundation of frequent chord modulations, alternating between simple, hummable melodies and intricate, phrase like piano lines. We took a subtractive approach to the arrangement to ensure the sound remains light and digestible. We also experimented with the texture of the sound human performances mimicking the mechanical precision of programmed beats, and live bass lines designed to sound like the analog roar of a car engine. By having each instrument weave in and out of the mix, we created a rich soundscape that never feels thin. Its a song we hope people will listen to while out for a drive. wave With wave, our goal was to take the classic melodic sensibilities of 80s soul and reimagine them through a modern sonic lens. The track features guitar style arpeggio bass refrains and laid back drumming. Taking inspiration from Gospel music, we placed the accent on the fourth beat to create a rotating groove, ensuring the ballad feels dynamic rather than flat. For the backing vocals, we drew from 60s soft rock, keeping the phrases within the natural scope of the band sound to avoid becoming overly grandiose. We especially love how the repetitive, intricate ensemble work mirrors the rhythmic ebb and flow of waves.
