JOSUKE's fifth work on the theme of "ambition" without breaking the masculine style. Contrary to the sweet singing voice, JOSUKE's ambitious feelings with intense passion can be glimpsed. A person who is not a human goes to drive a wedge into the heavens while raising the flag. A work whose theme is "Gekokujo", which means an inverted social order when the lowly reigned over the elite. The bass beats are beaten hard to stir up something, but JOSUKE's sentimental voice and slowness of tempo are the elements that do not break the masculine style. A song that exquisitely combines the "strength" of men with the "romanticity" of JOSUKE. Arranged by Kazuki Sugawara (anre*f), who was in charge of "In the Dream" and "Hana Makeup", he was constructing a new side of JOSUKE with an aggressive and catchy electro sound with Dubstep as a hint. In addition, this music video is also a work that expands the possibilities of JOSUKE's diverse expressions with the first back dancer.

Artist Profile

  • JOSUKE

A masculine style that is sweet and sentimental rather than fierce and rough-a solo project by singer-songwriter Josuke Sato. Sato spent 12 years, from kindergarten to junior high school, at an international school, and grew up surrounded by the influence of the religion and history of various countries. He first got involved in music through friends he met after transferring schools in his third year of junior high. In 2005, after graduating from high school, Sato formed the band "SINSEMILLA," in which he acted as the songwriter, composer, and vocalist. With their fusion of romance and hard rock, SINSEMILLA's performances in their hometown of Nagoya, which were completely independent productions, attracted over 150 people. The band broke up in 2008, but Sato remains committed to continuing to work with his former bandmates. In 2011, Sato established Artory Inc. with former members of SINSEMILLA and became the managing director of the company. Using skills such as programming that were his forte from a young age, Sato manages tasks such as web production. While continuing to expand the business, in 2016, Sato returned to the music world with the project "50 HEARTS," and in the summer of 2018 he began making preparations for full-scale artistic activities as a solo artist, JOSUKE. One of his first projects as JOSUKE was to re-release SINSEMILLA songs with updated arrangements reflecting the present era. The first song to come out of this project, "Yume no Naka de" ("Inside of a Dream"), was released, along with a music video, in December of the same year. The arrangement, by Kazuki Sugawara, represented an evolution from the original band's sound into a more romantic pop sound. As a work that allows JOSUKE's sweet and sentimental singing voice to stand out, the song succeeds in showcasing the charm of the music from a variety of different angles. As of December 2018, the project's third phase is underway. Releases will happen sequentially this winter through next spring.
