Artist Profile

    Born in Shizuoka Prefecture in 1984. He handles programming and the 17-string koto for the music unit "Ironomi" (@_ironomi). He graduated from the Department of Music at Nihon University College of Art, specializing in the Information Music course, where he studied acoustics, psychoacoustics, timbre analysis, and programming. He released the albums *mingle* (magic book records) in 2003 and *forest* (tinging space) in 2005. In 2008, he was involved in the launch and direction of the STARNET MUZIK label. He resumed his solo career in 2024 with the release of *ena*, his first solo album in approximately 20 years. He performs improvisational music using the *shifuku* technique, which involves touching the strings directly with his fingertips.
